ASSESS HYDROLOGY RISKS—EARLY

KiloNewton provides Hydrology Services to industry-leading SOLAR DEVELOPERS to assess site suitability in early stage project development to identify & avoid expensive civil works.

Hydrology and flood waters can be a critical determinant of site suitability & cost. The flood levels in an area of interest can often dictate the site suitability for solar installations, civil work quantities, and steel requirements.

See our SiTE™ OPTIMIZATION page for information about our other SiTE™ OPTIMIZATION services.

We have incorporated hydrology & watershed modeling capabilities into our SiTE™ Optimization Services to support DEVELOPERS & EPCs and will add them to our SolarSpace™ Toolbox in the near future.

Our structural engineers also work with our hydrology team to optimize structural designs in addition to our basic services:

@ KiloNewton

Our goal is to make the renewable energy industry and its participants more successful.

We believe that this will be accomplished by adopting a more holistic view of plant design.

An efficient design process and flawless execution will increase in importance as existing markets for renewables accelerate, new markets continue to emerge, and sites get more challenging.

We believe that educating and empowering the industry to work together will lead to the most revolutionary changes for the betterment of the earth.

 Expertise

We use hydrology tools in conjunction with GIS data analytics to evaluate hydrology and hydraulic requirements.

We use industry-standard software such as HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS for accurate results.

Our analysis is based on industry experience using multiple modeling platforms and techniques.
